Many websites, from Hot Topic to lots of indie brands, are now offering multiple pay-later options. Companies like Sezzle and AfterPay allow you to put down a down payment and order your goods if you promise to pay three more equal installments, each two weeks after the next, until your products are paid off. There's no fees or interest as long as you pay on time, and it's like layaway but better, since you don't have to wait for your items.
What do you think of services like these? If you want to get items for a birthday or during a sale and it's not yet payday, they can be a big blessing. If you do it too often, it can turn into a curse, since you'll be owing too much money every few weeks. It's like any other loan you have to manage, but without the interest and fees, unless you fail to pay on time.
Do you have any experience with services like these? If so, which ones do you like best, and where do you use them to shop? Share your tips in chat.
