You are a hip, trendy, and urban individual who deserves free shipping - and that is what Urban Outfitters is offering using code FALLFORIT with every order you place. There appears to be no minimum purchase to qualify for this - and it is a pretty sweet deal. You need only to keep the following terms in mind: Valid 8/24/10-09/30/10. Free Standard shipping. No minimum purchase required. Excludes Bikes and Print Shop. Web Only. U.S. Only. Cannot be combined with any other offer.
There is a few other coupons to try when you place your order using code CLASSACT will give 10% off and can be "stacked" with the free shipping on selected merchandise. Promotion code FALL101 will give you 15% off your purchase but I think you need to spend over $75 for it to work. It is my understanding that you can not use either of the % off codes with sale merchandise.
This promotion and others like it can be great tools for both the shopper and the seller. It is "Back to School" time now and the struggling retail stores need to squeeze everything dime out of you that they can to help them survive until the Holiday season - when they make most of their money.
I go back and fourth with how I feel about the company - I like them, and then hate them, and then they are okay, and then I hate them. My dilemma has to do with a lot of things, but mostly revolves around two: the selling knock of "vintage" clothing made in sweatshops and the company having the appearance of being liberal-leaning while the management supports the Republican Party. In regards to sweatshop and child labor it can be pretty hard to avoid - these companies need to make money and to do that they need to outsource production - I get it - but I think there should be more ethical and moral considerations - especially if Urban Outfitters President Richard Hayne can be a billionaire - where's the trickle down, Dick? Oh, I almost forgot, the "trickle down" effect was made up to get the rich man even richer. Sigh. When it comes to "posing" as a liberal, hip, urban company I get angry. If you have ever been in an UO store you know that like, at least a quarter of the people in there, can't read - so they don't know that those trendy Obama shirts they are buying are funding his his demise.
A deal is a deal though - and when you combine these promotions you can walk away with a sack full of fun - but I am still on the fence.
