When Ordering Prescription Drugs Online These are the Rules of Thumb

There are quite a few people who do not know that when ordering prescription drugs online there are some pretty important rules of thumb that should always be adhered to. The sad fact, with regards to the internet and all happenings on the World Wide Web, is that every time something truly revolutionary is stumbled upon—for example, being able to order drugs online—there are always scammers and fraudsters that immediately step up to the plate and try to make their ill gotten gains off unsuspecting consumers; whom truly do not know any better. But thankfully, there are ways that you can easily avoid being duped by the many bogus online pharmacies and their correlative scams that have been circling the internet since the late 1990s, when the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) first approved online pharmacies.
What to Look for in an Online Pharmacy
The FDA instructs to always keep your eyes peeled for several things when choosing online pharmacies to make a transaction from. They include assuring that the pharmacy is locally based, meaning that it’s domestically located in the United States; no Canadian pharmacies or other foreign pharmacies. Make certain that there is a valid and working, US phone number, and call it to verify that a human operator answers the phone. Only use pharmacies that are FDA approved, the legitimate ones will also be in the list of approved pharmacies on the FDA’s home page – FDA.gov. And, always assure that they use licensed doctors and pharmacists that legally write and dispense authentic prescription drugs.
The Amount of Illegally Operating Online Pharmacies is Astounding
During a recent analysis of the growing number of illegal pharmacies operating online and outside of both domestic and international laws, multiple agencies estimate that the number is around ten thousand or more – that is shocking folks! And of the legitimate pharmacies, only about a few hundred actually meet the criteria to be deemed safe. Finally, the largest risk perhaps of using an illegal online pharmacy is twofold. You could be giving your personal information over to identity thieves, as most illegal pharmacies are mob controlled. And, the drugs you are getting tend to not be authentic. They look real, the packaging will even mimic the holograms on the legitimate drug’s packaging, but the pills are most often placebos, and or dangerous substitutes that can have serious side effects.
Why FDA Approval Matters
FDA approval is hard to get. It means that the online pharmacy meets the above requirements. It means that you are getting real drugs, legally. And it means that they have been investigated to meet these requirements. Your health should never be compromised by using a dangerous and non FDA approved online pharmacies, even if they offer a better price; generally it is because they are not giving you the authentic drugs they claim to be.
Some Other Things That you should Know
One last notion here: Any online pharmacy selling schedule 1-5 narcotics or other drugs on the FDA’s schedule ballot are operating outside of the law. The FDA only approves certain drugs for online sale, as the regulations are lax (you don’t have to even see a doctor, you just chat with one online) so they never approve narcotics or dangerous drugs for sale online. Those who order narcotics online can be, and have been, found guilty of transporting contraband internationally.
